Most of the hats I make are done in 100% cotton yarn, but I occasionally make them in acrylic yarn as well.

Here are the different sizes of hats available:

Hat Size & Head Circumference:
*0-3 months fits a head up to 14" around
3-6 months fits a head 14"-16" around
6-12 months fits a head 16"-18" around
12-24 months fits a head 18"-19.5" around
2T-4T fits a head 19.5"-20.5" around

*Please note that the 0-3 months size is small. If you are interested in a hat that will fit for a bit longer, I would encourage you to go with the 3-6 months size hat.

A note about fit: The best way to determine the size of hat you'll need is to measure the person's head. The best way to do this is to take a tape measurer and measure the circumference around the largest part of the head, right above the eyebrows. If the hat is for a baby, it is not always reliable to go by the child's age to determine what size hat will fit best.
