FAQ's

Are the hats you make just for babies? TOP

No.  In the past, I have made my hats in all sizes from 0-3 months all the way up to Teen/Adult Small.  I am currently only making hats up to size 2T-4T and just focusing on hats for children.

Veronica, once I receive my order, is it okay if I contact you with feedback? TOP

Yes, please do!  I love hearing what you have to say.  I take pride in the craftsmanship of each hat that I make.  Your satisfaction is super important to me and hearing your feedback is greatly appreciated!

What is the correct way one of your hats should fit? TOP

My hats should be fitted, as all beanies should, in my opinion.  You'll know that the hat fits correctly when it comes down enough to cover most of the ear.  If you prefer a more loose fitting hat, I would recommend that you order a hat in the next size up from the one you'd normally wear.

Do the hats stretch? TOP
Yes they do.  The cotton hats in particular will need a little more time to be "broken in" and may appear tight at first but after a few times of being worn, they will stretch to fit better.

What is your return policy? TOP
It is important to me that a hat that has been ordered fits its intended recipient!  If for any reason a hat that has been ordered does not fit correctly, just email me and let me know  and I will be happy to exchange it for the correct size hat.  Due to the nature of the product, please understand that I will not be able to accept returns on hats for any other reason.

How do I care for my Hooked On You hat? TOP
It's important to understand the proper way to care for a crocheted hat so that you can keep the hat looking new longer. Although it may be safe to machine wash some crocheted hats, is really best if you hand wash the hat with liquid detergent, blot it dry (taking care not to wring the hat), reshape it and lay it flat to dry.  I always like to mention that you should avoid any contact with items that have velcro. Velcro and items made with yarn do not get along well. The velcro will attach itself to the yarn and when you end up pulling the two apart, it will have left a big snag in the item!
